TeXML First
TeXML First is an XML centric strategy that applies XML tags to copyedited content prior to the typesetting process. The XML tags will conform to a standard DTD used by the publisher. The TeXML First solution when used with Adobe InDesign automates the flowing of XML tagged content into the InDesign template fully preserves table and list structures, floating elements, and special characters. The round tripping feature of the solution can incorporate changes to content and style. The solution delivers application files, print ready PDFs, and valid XML that can be used for distributing content through other platforms.
